So now we continue in part 25 covering what 1st & 2nd Corinthians shows us on the Spiritual & Carnal, here are the 1st verses to start us off.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Here we start off with Paul showing us that God has prepared things for those who Love Him, because no have seen, or heard, nor even seen what has been put into the Hearts of men, by Gods love for us, in 2:10 we have God revealing to us by His Own Spirit, and this Spirit of his searches all things, including the deep things of God, to teach us, 2:11 for as man or carnal man only knows of the things of carnal man, save the the spirit of man which is in him, so the things of God know no man at all, Only the Spirit of God, show we need God to teach us from His Spirit.
Now the next lot of verses:
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
In verse 2:12, speaking back in reference to those in the Body of Christ, an received the Spirit of Christ, by the Baptism of the Holy Ghost/Spirit, show we no longer have the spirit of the world in us, but that Spirit, which is of God, so we might know the things that God teaches to us freely, 2:13 for now the things we now speak, are not those things of mans earthly wisdom, but that which the Holy Ghost Teaches us, showing us the Spiritual things with Spiritual things, applying to both the Old & New Testament, opening the believer up to see the Spiritual Realm.
Now the next verses:
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
In verse 2:14 it shows the natural man is unable to discern the Spiritual things of God, as they are foolishness to them, and they are unable to know them, because they have not God’s Spirit to help them discern these things, so they will most likely apply alot of Physical ailments to things of the more scientific mind to explain sin, and not really opened to the Spiritual side of which led to that Sin, 2:15 he that is now filled with Gods Spirit, is able to Judge all things, discern all things, yet he himself, is no ruler of men, knowing that God is his Judge, 2:16 asks us, who has know the mind of God, that we might instruct him, but in essence, it is he who instructs us, for now we have the Mind of Christ.
Now we start on lot of verses in the next chapter.
(1Co 3:1 KJV) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
(1Co 3:1 KJV+) AndG2532 I,G1473 brethren,G80 couldG1410 notG3756 speakG2980 unto youG5213 asG5613 unto spiritual,G4152 butG235 asG5613 unto carnal,G4559 even asG5613 unto babesG3516 inG1722 Christ.G5547
1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Here in 3:1 Paul states that he couldn’t speak to them in the spiritual, but unto those who as babes in Christ still, showing he had to use the carnal examples, to show Spiritual truths, whereby he says, i have fed you with milk, as a babe, still requires milk to live, and isn’t yet ready for hard meats, and wouldn’t be able to bear it as we finish 3:2.
To the next verses.
(1Co 3:3 KJV) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
(1Co 3:3 KJV+) ForG1063 ye areG2075 yetG2089 carnal:G4559 forG1063 whereasG3699 there is amongG1722 youG5213 envying,G2205 andG2532 strife,G2054 andG2532 divisions,G1370 areG2075 ye notG3780 carnal,G4559 andG2532 walkG4043 asG2596 men?G444
(1Co 3:4 KJV) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
(1Co 3:4 KJV+) ForG1063 whileG3752 oneG5100 saith,G3004 IG1473 (G3303) amG1510 of Paul;G3972 andG1161 another,G2087 IG1473 am of Apollos;G625 areG2075 ye notG3780 carnal?G4559
He then states, they are still carnal, where strife in the carnal was still among them, causing divisions, walking like sinful men, who still know not of the Spiritual things happening around them, of what caused these things, he then uses there own example, of one saying I was baptized of Paul, or another Apollos, causing division in the Body, which would be no different than one person saying, I am of the Christadelphians, an there better than you, and the other saying I’m of the Methodist and their wiser than you, then ending in this question, are you acting carnal because of such matters, acting like one persons faith is better than another.
Now to the next verse.
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Here we see Paul reminding the Body of Christ in Corinth, that they altogether make up the Temple of God, and that God’s Spirit now dwells in them, even though they are still babes in Christ, learning from the carnal to understand the Spiritual.
Now the next verse from chapter 9.
(1Co 9:11 KJV) If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
(1Co 9:11 KJV+) IfG1487 weG2249 have sownG4687 unto youG5213 spiritual things,G4152 is it a great thingG3173 ifG1487 weG2249 shall reapG2325 yourG5216 carnal things?G4559
Here Paul states a question, if i have shown unto you Spiritual things that God has shown & Taught him, is is a good thing, that we shall reap of the fleshly carnal things, that don’t always give glory to God.
Now the next verses found in chapter 15.
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
In verse 44, we see Paul making reference to the Natural & Spiritual Body expanding on the spiritual body part, we can also apply this to spiritual beings good & evil, verse 45 we see reference to the 1st Natural Body being Adam, who was also made a living soul, then he makes reference to the Spiritual Body, the Last Adam who was made of the Quickening Spirit, verse 46 he shows us the comparison between the 1st & last Adam again, moving into verse 47 Adam is of the Earth, and 2nd man is the Lord himself from Heaven above.
Now to the next verses 48-50.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Now Paul in verse 48 says shows as there is the earthly body, so is there also in heavenly body or bodies(spiritual bodies) so just as there is spiritual bodies that represent evil, we have earthly bodies that represent that evil, verse 49 showing we are borne of the earthly bodies image, then we shall also become like that of heavenly bodies in there image, if you remember when Christ spoke to the Sadducee concerning the resurrection, verse 50 then Paul says, our flesh & blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruptible.
Now we will move into 2nd Corinthians in chapter 10.
2Co 10:1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
2Co 10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
Moving into verse 1, Paul comes to us in meekness & gentleness through Jesus Christ, coming to bring this message in humbleness to the saints, though being absent, speaking in boldness to them, verse 2 addressing that he may not be bold, when present with them, with confidence, being bold against those which think of those who now think of him walking according to the flesh & not the spirit, verse 3, he then says, as we walk in the flesh, we no longer war after the flesh, so he is preparing the saints, for things that the enemy(Satan) does in the Spiritual.
Now the next verses 4-6.
(2Co 10:4 KJV) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
(2Co 10:4 KJV+) (ForG1063 theG3588 weaponsG3696 of ourG2257 warfareG4752 are notG3756 carnal,G4559 butG235 mightyG1415 through GodG2316 toG4314 the pulling downG2506 of strong holds;)G3794
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Now he tells us the weapons of our warfare, aren’t carnal, showing we are dealing with a spiritual foe, but we are Mighty through God, who is Spirit, to the pulling down of these Spiritual Strongholds in verse 4, verse 5 with the foe sending forth imaginations, that want to exalt themselves against the Knowledge of God, by which we must cast down & rebuke, bringing into captivity every thought that the foe sends to come to obedience in Christ, verse 6 and having prepared in all readiness to revenge all disobedience, when we obey and it is fulfilled when the Spirit of Christ shows us the way to overcome.
Now we will move to some verses in Galatians.
Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
In verse 16, Paul shows us we must Walk in the Spirit, and not fulfill any temptations that we experience through the flesh, verse 17 it shows us, even though we do have Gods Spirit in us now, our flesh, which still represents the earthly body, the body that fell into sin will now be the Christians battle, with the enemy Spiritual Satan sending temptations for the flesh to fall at any chance to hinder the Believers walk, so one can walk contrary to the Word of God, verse 18, we are told if we are led by the Spirit of God, we are no longer under the Law, that showed us we are under the Penalty of Sin.
To be continued in Part 26 where we will show the Heavenly Flesh of Jesus, here are some other verses to read through in regards to the Spiritual & Carnal before reading the next part.

(Heb 7:16 KJV+) WhoG3739 is made,G1096 notG3756 afterG2596 the lawG3551 of a carnalG4559 commandment,G1785 butG235 afterG2596 the powerG1411 of an endlessG179 life.G2222
